FiiO DP11 CD PLAYER LAUNCHES WITH USB CD RIPPING AND DIGITAL OUTPUTS

FiiO has announced the new FiiO DP11 CD Player, a compact tray-loading CD player designed for desktop and home HiFi systems.

Featuring a built-in DAC, multiple digital outputs and the ability to rip CDs directly to USB storage without a computer, the FiiO DP11 CD Player arrives as CD sales continue to grow.

FiiO DP11 CD PLAYER AND CD RIPPING

The FiiO DP11 features a custom tray-loading CD mechanism with optimised servo firmware and a low-noise support assembly. It can be connected to a traditional HiFi system or compatible active speakers, while its compact dimensions make it suitable for desktop setups.

One of its key features is the ability to rip CDs directly to a USB drive in lossless WAV format, without needing a computer. This function supports CDDA audio discs and requires a FAT32-formatted USB drive with a capacity of 32GB or less.

FiiO DP11 DAC AND CONNECTIVITY

The FiiO DP11 uses a CS43198 DAC and provides stereo RCA analogue line outputs alongside AES (XLR), coaxial and optical digital outputs.

It also offers USB DAC functionality, supporting PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD256. The AES and coaxial outputs support up to 24-bit/192kHz, while the optical output supports up to 24-bit/96kHz.

MQA-CD bitstream passthrough is included, although decoding requires a compatible external decoder.

The DP11 can be partnered with FiiO’s K17 streaming headphone amplifier, EA13 tube amplifier or K13 R2R DAC/headphone amplifier.

INTERNAL DESIGN AND POWER SUPPLY

Internally, the DP11 features two femtosecond crystal oscillators designed for low phase noise. Separate power supplies and PCB sections are used for the CD servo, digital circuitry and analogue circuitry.

The player has a built-in switching power supply supporting 100–240V AC and can alternatively be powered by a suitable external 12V DC linear power supply rated at 2A or more. FiiO specifies a signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range of at least 109dB for the RCA analogue outputs.

FiiO DP11 DESIGN AND CONTROLS

The DP11 has an all-metal chassis and a 3.71-inch LCD display. An infrared remote control is supplied for track selection and playback, alongside a USB-C data cable and mains lead.

Measuring 213 × 230 × 67mm, excluding its feet, the player weighs approximately 1.8kg.

FiiO is also launching its Modular Hi-Fi Device Storage Rack alongside the DP11, allowing compatible FiiO components to be arranged together in a compact system.

CD SALES CONTINUE TO GROW

The DP11 arrives during a period of renewed interest in physical music formats. According to the RIAA figures cited by FiiO, US CD sales revenue increased by 58% during the first half of 2026, with sales volume rising by 45%. FiiO has already introduced portable CD players, including the DM15 R2R, and the DP11 extends its CD playback range to desktop and home HiFi systems.

FiiO DP11 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

The FiiO DP11 CD Player is scheduled to launch in October 2026, priced at €184.99 or $185. It will launch alongside the FiiO Modular Hi-Fi Device Storage Rack. UK pricing is TBC.
