LOUTD MUSEGG GETS QOBUZ AND ROON INTEGRATION THROUGH UPDATED LOUTD/OS
Graz-based HiFi manufacturer LOUTD has announced an update to its digital platform, introducing a revised mobile app and an updated LOUTD/OS operating system for its LOUTD musegg modular HiFi system.
The changes add direct integration with Qobuz, with Roon integration currently in its final rollout.

LOUTD/OS
LOUTD/OS is the operating system responsible for controlling the musegg system, including signal processing, room adaptation through LOUTD’s HoRooc service and the modular One.Click electronics. The latest version provides the technical basis for connecting external streaming services and adding further features through software updates.
LOUTD MUSEGG® AND QOBUZ
Qobuz integration is now available directly within musegg. This provides access to the streaming service’s catalogue without requiring an additional intermediary device.
LOUTD MUSEGG® AND ROON
Roon integration is in its final rollout and is expected to follow shortly. The integration is intended for users who already use Roon to manage their music libraries and connected devices, allowing musegg to be incorporated into an existing Roon setup.
NEW LOUTD APP
LOUTD has also redesigned its mobile app, which is available for both iOS and Android. The app provides access to sources and sound profiles, alongside functions for setting up the musegg system in a room.
LOUTD MUSEGG® SYSTEM
LOUTD Musegg is a modular HiFi system from Loutd GmbH, based in Graz, Austria. The system uses an egg-shaped monocoque enclosure, modular One.Click electronics and the HoRooc service for room adaptation. Users can configure the system through LOUTD’s online configurator, with both subscription and purchase options available.
LOUTD MUSEGG® PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
LOUTD states that musegg is available by subscription from €99 per month or for purchase. Pricing for individual configurations is determined through the system configurator.
