Revox Deep Purple Limited Editions
REVOX DEEP PURPLE LIMITED EDITION SYSTEMS ANNOUNCED
Swiss audio brand Revox has partnered with rock band Deep Purple to launch a series of limited-edition analogue playback products.
The collaboration centres on three components: a reel-to-reel tape machine, a turntable, and an active loudspeaker, all released as part of the Deep Purple Limited Edition.
Each product is supplied with music from the band’s forthcoming album SPLAT!, due for release on 3rd July 2026.
REVOX B77 MK III DEEP PURPLE LIMITED EDITION
The Revox B77 MK III reel-to-reel tape recorder is presented here in a run of 25 units. Each machine is hand-signed by band members Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Don Airey and Simon McBride. The unit includes a master tape version of SPLAT! and matching reels.
This edition introduces an electronic braking system working alongside the existing mechanical braking, designed to improve tape handling precision while maintaining safe operation in the event of power loss. Production takes place in Villingen, Germany.
REVOX T77 TURNTABLE DEEP PURPLE LIMITED EDITION
The Revox T77 turntable is issued in a limited run of 50 units, also signed by the band. Each package includes a master record pressing of SPLAT! intended to offer higher-quality playback than standard vinyl releases.
The T77 continues Revox’s focus on analogue playback, with construction and finish adapted for this collaboration. As with the tape machine, manufacturing is carried out in Germany.
REVOX STUDIOMASTER A200 DEEP PURPLE LIMITED EDITION
Completing the range is the STUDIOMASTER A200 active speaker, limited to 200 units. The speaker supports standalone, stereo and multi-room use, with connectivity options including Wi-Fi, LAN, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2. A battery option offering up to 12 hours of operation is also available.
Each unit is finished in the Deep Purple design and signed by the band, aligning visually with the rest of the series.
COLLABORATION AND ALBUM CONTEXT
The collaboration between Revox and Deep Purple focuses on delivering playback formats aligned with studio recording methods, particularly analogue tape and vinyl. The included album, SPLAT!, was recorded live in the studio and produced by Bob Ezrin.
The release coincides with public demonstrations planned around HIGH END 2026 in Vienna where the products are expected to be shown.

The Revox B77 MK III Stereo Tape Recorder – Deep Purple Limited Edition (with master tape) is priced at €19,995. The Revox T77 Turntable – Deep Purple Limited Edition (with master record) is priced at €6,995. The Revox STUDIOMASTER A200 Speaker – Deep Purple Limited Edition is priced at €698. Availability is limited according to production numbers outlined above.
