ROTEL AMORA 5 LOUDSPEAKER MARKS ROTEL’S RETURN TO PASSIVE SPEAKERS
Rotel has announced the Rotel Amora 5, a two-way bass-reflex stand-mount loudspeaker that marks the company’s return to passive speakers.
The Rotel Amora 5 is designed to work with Rotel electronics while also being suitable for use in other quality HiFi systems.

ROTEL AMORA 5 LOUDSPEAKERS
The Amora 5 uses a 1-inch (25 mm) silk-dome tweeter alongside a 6.5-inch (165 mm) woven-fibre composite midrange/bass driver. The tweeter is mounted in an aluminium surround with an ABS faceplate designed to minimise diffraction, while the midrange/bass driver uses a rigid aluminium frame.
A precision-tuned 2.5 kHz crossover integrates the two drivers. Rotel specifies a frequency response of 48 Hz to 28 kHz, with sensitivity rated at 87 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and recommended amplifier power of 30–120 W.

CABINET AND CONNECTIVITY
The Amora 5 features a rigid MDF cabinet and a rear-mounted reflex port, which is tuned to extend the low-frequency response to 48 Hz. Dual sets of gold-plated speaker terminals allow either standard single-wire or bi-wire connection.
A removable magnetic grille with acoustically transparent fabric is supplied, while finish options are Matte Black and Matte White.
ROTEL AMORA 5 SPECIFICATIONS
The loudspeaker measures 350 mm high, 190 mm wide and 300 mm deep. Its two-way bass-reflex configuration, compact stand-mount format and dual speaker terminals are intended to give users flexibility when integrating the speakers into different systems.

ROTEL AMORA 5 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Rotel Amora 5 will be available through authorised Rotel dealers in August 2026. Pricing is $999 / €999 / £999 per pair.
