PRO-JECT E1.2 BT TURNTABLE ADDS BLUETOOTH 5.4 AND NEW COLOUR FINISHES
Pro-Ject Audio Systems has expanded its E-Line turntable range with the Pro-Ject E1.2 BT, adding Bluetooth connectivity to the plug-and-play E1.2 platform.
The new Pro-Ject E1.2 BT Turntable uses a Qualcomm Bluetooth transmitter module supporting Bluetooth 5.4, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive codecs.
PRO-JECT E1.2 BT TURNTABLE
The E1.2 BT can transmit vinyl playback wirelessly to compatible Bluetooth speakers, headphones and amplifiers. A dedicated pairing button allows users to initiate connections directly, while the turntable can also be used with Pro-Ject’s wireless products, including the Uni Box S3 and Wireless Box E.
The new model retains the main features of the E1.2, including factory-adjusted tracking force and anti-skating, a 730g die-cast aluminium platter, pre-adjusted Pro-Ject Pick it MM E cartridge and precision tonearm. The turntable also uses a glass-fibre reinforced ABS sub-platter, carbon-reinforced headshell, damped DC motor, electronic 33/45 RPM switching and belt drive.
PRO-JECT E1.2 BT COLOUR FINISHES
Alongside the standard High Gloss Black, Satin White and Walnut finishes, the E1.2 BT is available in five Colour finishes: Satin Black, Satin White, Satin Fir Green, Satin Golden Yellow and Satin Steel Blue. The Colour versions use a CNC-machined MDF chassis, with the finishes applied to the MDF chassis.
PRO-JECT E1.2 PHONO
Pro-Ject is also introducing the E1.2 Phono to the UK with their distributor Henley Audio. Based on the original E1.2, this version adds a switchable phono preamplifier, allowing it to be connected directly to a line or CD input. It is available in High Gloss Black, Satin White and Walnut.
HANDMADE IN EUROPE
The E1.2 BT and E1.2 Phono are handmade in Europe. Pro-Ject states that the models are designed with long-term serviceability in mind and include a 25-year spare-parts availability guarantee.
PRO-JECT E1.2 BT PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Pro-Ject E1.2 BT is available now at £399 in its three standard finishes and £449 in the five Colour finishes. The E1.2 Phono is also available now, priced at £319.
