HENLEY AUDIO BRING NEW PRO-JECT RECORD CLEANING MACHINES TO BRISTOL
Since 2016 Pro-Ject Audio Systems, has not only been making turntables and electronics but also affordable record-cleaning machines.
The VC-E and the VC-S2 Alu models have proven popular and now the Austrian HiFi brand has announced the next generation of these machines. Pro-Ject’s RCM range is designed to motivate more and more people to buy both new and used records, expanding collections around the world.
PRO-JECT VC-E2 AND VC-S3 RECORD CLEANING MACHINES
The VC-E2 and VC-S3 machines feature new improved cabinet design utilising 5mm aluminium composite panels, new magnetic clamps for quicker set-up, new improved motors for fast and effective cleaning, ew self-adhesive arm strips for better interaction between the record and the vacuum arm and a new eco-friendly, pre-mixed and alcohol-free Wash it 2 cleaning fluid.
VACUUM CLEANING
The Pro-Ject VC-E2 and the VC-S3 record cleaning machines are designed to get the best out of your vinyl record collection, by using a wet cleaning solution with Pro-Ject’s specially formulated, pre-mixed cleaning fluid, Wash it 2, and following with a quick and powerful vacuum cleaning process.
7” KIT
As with previous generations, there will be a 7” kit due later in 2023 that’s compatible with the latest models, for effective cleaning of 7” jukebox-style records.
CLEANING LIQUID
The VC-E2 and VC-S3 RCMs are both supplied with Pro-Ject’s Wash it 2 cleaning solution. Wash it 2 is a ready-to-use mixture, where the concentrated cleaning fluid is pre-mixed with demineralized water in an optimum ratio to achieve a perfectly clean record, extended vacuum motor life and convenience in use. Wash it 2 is suitable for both vinyl and shellac records, and it is designed to evaporate quickly with zero residue so you will see very little fluid building up in the RCM’s internal waste containers.
The VC-S3 is made for advanced users with bigger record collections, and more time required for proper record cleaning. The VC-E2 is designed to be easier to accommodate for smaller spaces and for those with smaller collections. The VC-E2 has further improved upon its predecessor thanks to its new improved vacuum steam outlet, redirecting all exhaust fumes away from the lower record surface.
