ORCHARD AUDIO STARKRIMSON HT ULTRA SERIES BRINGS GAN AMPLIFICATION TO HOME CINEMA
Orchard Audio has announced the new Orchard Audio Starkrimson HT Ultra Series, marking the company’s entry into the home-theatre and cinema market.
The multichannel amplifier range will be available in three-, four- and five-channel configurations, bringing Orchard Audio’s gallium-nitride (GaN) amplification technology and modular power-delivery architecture to home cinema systems.
ORCHARD AUDIO EXPANDS INTO HOME THEATRE
The launch represents a move into multichannel amplification for Orchard Audio, which has previously focused on high-fidelity stereo and monoblock amplifiers. Founder Leo Ayzenshtat says the new series was developed in response to requests for a multichannel solution using the company’s GaN technology. The Starkrimson HT Ultra Series is available to preorder now, with early deliveries expected in December 2026 or January 2027.

The new amplifiers are based on engineering used in Orchard Audio’s Stereo Ultra and Mono Ultra Premium amplifiers. Each model uses a 1200W custom power supply, while selected configurations can also be fitted with capacitor boards providing 43,600uF of capacitance. According to Orchard Audio, these options are intended to support bass performance and transient response when used with demanding loudspeakers, including left and right main speakers in hybrid stereo and home-theatre systems.
MULTICHANNEL HOME CINEMA APPLICATIONS
The Starkrimson HT Ultra Series is designed for a range of system configurations, from three-channel front-stage installations through to five-channel systems and larger Dolby Atmos layouts. Orchard Audio cites examples including 5.2.4 and 7.2.2 systems, with the modular approach allowing configurations to be matched to different loudspeaker and room requirements.
STARKRIMSON HT ULTRA SERIES USES GAN CLASS-D AMPLIFICATION
The amplifiers use GaN-based Class-D technology, with Orchard Audio highlighting low distortion, efficiency and fast operation. The company says the amplifiers are designed to maintain channel integrity and stability under heavy loads, with different combinations of power supplies and capacitor boards available depending on the speakers being driven.

Pricing is from $3,199.95 to $6,399.95. Early preorder deliveries are scheduled for December 2026/January 2027.
