HIFIMAN SVANAR WIRELESS 2 TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS ANNOUNCED
HIFIMAN has announced the HifiMan Svanar Wireless 2 IEMs, a new True Wireless earbud that follows the original Svanar Wireless with a smaller and lighter design.
The new HifiMan Svanar Wireless 2 model uses HIFIMAN’s proprietary HYMALAYA Mini DAC, which brings the company’s R-2R DAC architecture into a single dedicated chip and allows for a more compact internal layout.

According to HIFIMAN, the HYMALAYA Mini DAC contains twice the number of resistors in a space five times smaller than the original version. The reduced size of the internal circuitry has helped lower the weight of each earbud from 8g to 7.4g, while also allowing HIFIMAN to revise the shape and fit of the housing for extended listening.
The Svanar Wireless 2 uses an independent Class AB balanced amplifier, with digital-to-analogue conversion and amplification handled separately within its internal architecture. HIFIMAN has also included its Topology Diaphragm, which uses a Nano particle coating, alongside a 10mm dynamic driver designed for full-range reproduction.
HIFIMAN SVANAR WIRELESS 2 WIRELESS FEATURES
Bluetooth 6.0 is supported, along with L2HC and LDAC high-resolution audio streams. The earbuds also feature ANC Deep Noise Cancellation, specified as reducing noise by up to -35dB, and carry an IPX5 rating for resistance to sweat, dirt and use in different weather conditions.
APP AND BATTERY
HIFIMAN says it will soon introduce a HIFIMAN Mobile App for the Svanar Wireless 2, offering firmware updates, touch gesture personalisation and EQ control. Battery life is stated as averaging between four and eight hours depending on usage, while the charging case can recharge the earbuds three times. The frequency range is specified as 10Hz–35kHz and the onboard amplifier output is rated at 45mW.
COMPACT TRUE WIRELESS DESIGN
The combination of the smaller DAC architecture and revised internal layout is intended to reduce both the size and weight of the earbuds while retaining separate DAC and amplification stages. Each earbud weighs 7.4g, compared with 8g for the original model.

The HIFIMAN Svanar Wireless 2 will be available in September at a suggested retail price of $299.
