LORENZO AUDIO THE ESSENCE LAUNCHES NEW BRAVO LOUDSPEAKER SERIES
Lorenzo Audio has announced a new loudspeaker range, the Bravo Collection, marking a development in the company’s product line.
The existing models will now sit within the Classic Collection, while the Bravo Collection debuts with its first model, Lorenzo Audio The Essence.
LORENZO AUDIO THE ESSENCE
Lorenzo Audio The Essence is positioned as the most compact loudspeaker in the company’s catalogue. It introduces the firm’s new Resonance Optimization System (ROS), a methodology focused on analysing and controlling cabinet resonances through material selection and construction techniques.
CABINET CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
The speaker and stand are built from 21mm phenolic plywood, with additional use of Panzerholz components in key structural areas. The cabinet is finished in natural wood veneer, with elements such as the front bass reflex port crafted from tonal wood and finished using traditional luthier techniques including marquetry and shellac polishing.
LORENZO AUDIO THE ESSENCE DRIVER AND CROSSOVER DETAILS
This is a two-way design featuring a 7.5-inch carbon fibre woofer and a ¾-inch soft dome tweeter. The crossover is hand-soldered without a printed circuit board and is housed داخل the supplied stand. Components are sourced from manufacturers including Duelund, Mundorf, Jantzen and Pathaudio, with internal wiring made from high-purity copper.
PERFORMANCE AND SPECIFICATIONS
Lorenzo Audio The Essence has a stated sensitivity of 88dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. Frequency response is quoted at 33Hz to 25kHz, with recommended amplifier power between 30 and 300 watts. Each speaker, including its stand, measures 111cm in height and weighs 25kg.

The Resonance Optimization System (ROS) underpins the design approach, focusing on managing the resonant behaviour of different wood types within the cabinet and associated components. Lorenzo Audio states that this process is intended to influence tonal characteristics and overall presentation by treating the speaker as a musical instrument in its construction.
FURTHER BRAVO COLLECTION DEVELOPMENTS
Lorenzo Audio has confirmed that additional models in the Bravo Collection are planned, with further announcements expected in the near future. The company will also present its products at High End Vienna 2026.

Lorenzo Audio The Essence is scheduled to begin shipping in mid-May, with a retail price of €39,500 including taxes.
