KEF LS LUXE Wireless Speaker System
KEF LS LUXE COMBINES NEW DRIVER TECHNOLOGY WITH ROSS LOVEGROVE DESIGN
KEF has announced the KEF LS LUXE, a new wireless speaker system developed in collaboration with designer Ross Lovegrove.
The KEF LS LUXE Wireless Speaker System combines a sculptural cabinet design with a range of new and existing KEF acoustic technologies, including the company’s 12th-generation 6.5-inch Uni-Q driver with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) and the debut of Velocity Control Technology (VECO).

KEF X ROSS LOVEGROVE
Ross Lovegrove is an industrial designer known for combining organic forms with advanced materials and manufacturing techniques. His relationship with KEF spans more than two decades and includes the Muon loudspeaker, Mu headphones and the Muo portable speaker. The new LS LUXE continues that collaboration, with Lovegrove responsible for the speaker’s sculptural cabinet design.

KEF LS LUXE FEATURES NEW VELOCITY CONTROL TECHNOLOGY
The LS LUXE introduces KEF’s new Velocity Control Technology (VECO), a closed-loop system that monitors the movement of the Uni-Q driver using a velocity sensor and feeds data to a dedicated amplifier to reduce bass distortion. The speaker also uses a mechanically decoupled Uni-Q assembly designed to minimise vibration, while KEF’s Music Integrity Engine (MIE) digital signal processing is used to maintain consistent performance across different listening levels. Each speaker is powered by a 100W Class AB amplifier and a 280W Class D current-drive amplifier.
HIGH-RESOLUTION STREAMING AND MULTIPLE INPUTS
Built on KEF’s W2 wireless platform, the LS LUXE supports streaming services including Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz and Deezer, alongside Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast and QPlay. It supports playback of PCM files up to 24-bit/384kHz and DSD from compatible music servers or NAS drives.
For wired sources, connections include HDMI eARC, analogue, optical and coaxial inputs. Each speaker also features a dedicated subwoofer output, while Roon Ready compatibility is scheduled to become available in 2027.

KEF LS LUXE SETUP, FINISHES AND ACCESSORIES
The LS LUXE can be configured using the KEF Connect app, which includes Normal and Expert setup modes along with Room EQ DSP for room optimisation. Users can also control the system via the supplied C3 remote.
The speakers are available in Dusk Titanium, Eclipse Black and Mineral White finishes. Optional accessories include the S-LUXE floor stands with integrated cable management, the K-Stream interspeaker cable offering up to eight metres of placement flexibility, and the KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter kit for cable-free connection to compatible KEF subwoofers.
