Henley Audio Relaunch Sumiko In The UK

Henley Audio has announced that as of January 1st, 2020, they have been officially appointed as the new, exclusive UK and Republic of Ireland distributor for Sumiko Phono Cartridges.

Lionel Nunney, VP of Sales & Marketing, EMEA, for McIntosh Group, the parent company of Sumiko, says of the new distribution arrangement:

“Sumiko, a long-established part of the McIntosh family, is proud to be partnered with Henley Audio. Laurence and his team’s knowledge of analogue technologies will be a definite asset moving forward, and the company’s attention to excellent customer service matches our own expectations. We’re delighted to be starting a new relationship with them.”

Moving Coil Cartridges

Managing Director of Henley Audio, Laurence Armstrong, said of the new relationship: “We’re thrilled to be adding another brand to our portfolio, and we feel Sumiko slots in perfectly with its unique position in the market. As a company with a strong heritage and reputation, capable of exploring different areas of the cartridge market – such as with their high output moving coils and premium open architecture designs – we’re delighted to help push the brand forward in the UK, and will be establishing a knowledgeable dealer network as quickly as possible.”

Technical Support

As of January 2020, Henley Audio will be offering sales, technical support, service, and marketing for all Sumiko products in the UK and Ireland.
