Electromod Host UK HeadFi Debuts At NWAS 2026
ELECTROMOD HOSTS GRELL OAE2 UK DEBUT HEADLINES NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW 2026
Headphone specialist Electromod will use North West Audio Show 2026 to introduce several products making their UK show debuts, led by the first public UK appearance of the Grell OAE2 headphones.
Visitors to Cranage 2026 will also be able to hear new products from Écoute and Topping alongside a wide range of personal audio equipment.
GRELL OAE2 TAKES CENTRE STAGE AT NWAS 2026 WITH ELECROMOD
The headline attraction in the Electromod room is the UK show debut of the Grell OAE2 headphones. Designed by Axel Grell, known for his work on classic Sennheiser models including the HD 800, HD 650 and HD 600, the OAE2 employs an unconventional driver arrangement intended to alter the headphone listening experience.

Rather than directing sound straight into the ear canal, the OAE2 places its drivers in front of the ears at a 30-degree angle. This allows sound to interact more naturally with the outer ear and is intended to create a presentation that more closely resembles listening to stereo loudspeakers in a room.
ÉCOUTE TH1 AND TOPPING MAKE UK SHOW DEBUTS
Joining the Grell OAE2 at NWAS 2026 are several other UK show premieres. The Écoute TH1 wireless headphones will be demonstrated, combining wireless functionality with an integrated valve preamplifier stage.
Topping will also showcase a number of new DACs and headphone amplifiers. Among them is the DX9 Discrete, which incorporates the company’s proprietary discrete 1-bit DAC architecture. Visitors will also be able to see two new entry-level models priced below £200: the E50 II DAC and the DX1 II.
DAN CLARK AUDIO AND HEADPHONE PARTNERS ON DEMONSTRATION
Electromod’s display will additionally feature Dan Clark Audio’s range of open- and closed-back headphones, including the Noire X, XO, Stealth, Expanse and Corina models.
These demonstrations will be supported by headphone amplification from both Topping and German manufacturer Violectric. Accessories from Dekoni Audio and power products from MS HD Power will also form part of the exhibit.

The room will offer an opportunity to compare a variety of headphone systems and associated equipment, with several products appearing at a UK show for the first time.
