BLOK AXIS SPEAKER STANDS INTRODUCED IN THREE HEIGHTS

Blok has introduced the Blok Axis, a new range of precision-engineered speaker stands designed for standmount loudspeakers.

The Blok Axis range is built around Monitor Audio Group’s Transparent Design Philosophy, which aims to balance physical design and technology while maintaining what the company describes as musical neutrality and acoustic transparency.

BLOK AXIS SPEAKER STANDS IN THREE HEIGHT OPTIONS

Axis is available in three heights: 500mm, 600mm and 700mm. All three versions are offered at the same price, allowing users to select a height according to their loudspeakers and listening environment without a difference in cost.

ACOUSTIC ENGINEERING AND ISOLATION

The stands use a precision-engineered metal top plate with integrated rubber isolation pads. The design is intended to provide a stable platform while reducing vibration and resonance transfer between the loudspeaker and stand.

At the centre of each stand is a rigid extruded metal pole designed for strength and stability. The column can be filled with Blok’s IsoFill acoustic damping material, adding mass and vibration control. Blok states that this is intended to support tighter bass reproduction and more precise imaging.

BLOK AXIS PLYWOOD PLINTH

The Axis base uses a wide, chamfered plywood plinth with a layered construction designed to provide rigidity and structural stability while controlling resonance. The combination of the plywood base and metal central column is intended to provide strength, stability and vibration control.

FLOOR COUPLING

Chrome-plated steel spikes are supplied with the Axis stands for mechanical coupling to the floor. Blok says the spikes are designed to minimise unwanted movement and resonance while providing stability. Stainless Steel Floor Guard Discs are available separately for use on hard-wood floors.

FINISHES AND KEY FEATURES

Axis is available in Satin Black with Black Ash Plywood or Satin White with Natural Ash Plywood. Alongside the three height options, key features include the metal top plate and rubber isolation pads, mass-fillable central pole, chamfered plywood plinth and chrome-plated steel spikes.

BLOK AXIS PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Blok Axis 500, Axis 600 and Axis 700 are each priced at £325 / $430 / €400 per pair. Blok IsoFill is £35 / $45 / €40 for a 7kg tub, while Floor Guard Discs are £25 / $35 / €30 per set of eight. Blok Axis will be available from September 2026.
