PS Audio PMG Signature Series M800 And M400 Monoblock Amplifiers
PS AUDIO PMG SIGNATURE SERIES M800 AND M400 MONO POWER AMPLIFIERS INTRODUCED
PS Audio has announced two new mono power amplifiers, the PMG Signature Series M800 and M400.
Designed by Darren Myers and engineered by Bob Stadherr, the PS Audio PMG Signature Series M800 and M400 Monoblock Amplifiers are intended to combine Class A operation with high power output and wide bandwidth.
They were shown at High End Vienna 2026.
PS AUDIO PMG SIGNATURE SERIES M800 AND M400 MONOBLOCK AMPLIFIERS
The M800 delivers 800 watts into 4 ohms and provides 50 watts of pure Class A operation. The M400 produces 400 watts into 4 ohms, with 30 watts of Class A operation. According to PS Audio, this allows the amplifiers to remain in Class A for much of typical listening while retaining additional power for more demanding passages.
The PS Audio PMG Signature Series was launched at AXPONA 2025 in celebration of the brand’s 50th anniversary.

CLASS A OPERATION AND POWER SUPPLY
Both amplifiers use an active power supply architecture, which PS Audio says is designed to provide cleaner power and increased current on demand. They also employ extremely low negative feedback, bandwidth extending beyond 500kHz and a slew rate greater than 200V/µS.
PS Audio reports that its measured performance is among the best achieved by the company, including reproduction of a 10kHz square wave without overshoot or ringing.
CONNECTIVITY AND DESIGN
The M800 and M400 each provide balanced and single-ended inputs, two sets of speaker outputs for bi-wiring, a subwoofer output and a 12-volt trigger input for integration with custom-installation audio and home cinema systems.
The M800 measures 27.5in long by 17.5in wide and 8.75in high, with a weight of 119.2lb. The M400 measures 16in long by 17.5in wide and 8in high, weighing 68lb. Both models are available in black or silver.

The PS Audio PMG Signature Series M800 and M400 are currently available. US retail pricing is $29,998 per pair for the M800 and $17,998 per pair for the M400.
