SV-Audio APPOINTS BENNO BAUN MELDGAARD AS CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Danish loudspeaker manufacturer SV-Audio has announced the appointment of Benno Baun Meldgaard as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
SV-Audio says the appointment marks the next stage in its development as it continues to design and manufacture loudspeakers in Denmark.
BENNO BAUN MELDGAARD BRINGS MORE THAN THREE DECADES OF EXPERIENCE
Meldgaard joins SV-Audio with more than 30 years of experience in loudspeaker design and development. Many audiophiles will recognise his work from loudspeaker ranges including the Gryphon EOS Series and the Raidho TD Series and brands GamuT and Baun. According to SV-Audio, his technical expertise will support the company’s future loudspeaker development.
SHARED DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
SV-Audio says the appointment reflects a shared approach to loudspeaker design between the company and its new CTO. The manufacturer describes its design philosophy as creating loudspeakers that focus on the recording rather than drawing attention to themselves, with an emphasis on balance, timing and musicality. The company believes Meldgaard’s experience and outlook align with these principles and will help guide future product development.
SV-AUDIO MANUFACTURES LOUDSPEAKERS IN DENMARK
Founded by Storgaard & Vestskov, SV-Audio develops and manufactures its loudspeakers in Denmark. The company says every model is designed, built and individually tested in the country, combining Scandinavian craftsmanship with its engineering approach.
