PMC Celebrates 35th Anniversary At High End Vienna 2026

British HiFi brand PMC will celebrate its 35th anniversary at High End Vienna 2026 with a dedicated “PMC Studio Vienna” space designed to recreate the environment of the company’s professional mixing studios in London, Los Angeles and Nashville.

The idea behind the room is to give visitors a closer look at how music and film soundtracks are recorded, mixed and mastered using PMC systems, alongside demonstrations of the company’s flagship PMC fenestria loudspeakers. Three sessions per day are planned across the four-day show.

PMC FENESTRIA DEMONSTRATIONS WITH INDUSTRY GUESTS

Among the guests appearing at PMC Studio Vienna will be Grammy Award-winning engineer Steve Genewick, known for work with Bob Dylan, Diana Krall, Bastille and Gregory Porter. Genewick will present sessions focused on recordings produced at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles and will also join PMC’s Maurice Patist for discussions around jazz recording and production techniques.

Mastering engineer Miles Showell will also appear, discussing vinyl mastering and half-speed mastering techniques, with demonstrations played through the PMC fenestria system.

SOHN AND DOLBY ATMOS AT PMC STUDIO VIENNA

Artist and producer SOHN is scheduled to demonstrate Dolby Atmos mixing techniques using material from his debut album Tremors, while Canadian singer Dominique Fils-Aimé will present tracks from her latest album My World is the Sun in Dolby Atmos.

PMC says the sessions are intended to explore the relationship between studio production and home playback, using both professional and domestic audio systems.

PMC FENESTRIA SYSTEM AND ANALOGUE PLAYBACK

Between scheduled presentations, PMC will run demonstrations using a system built around PMC fenestria loudspeakers, Bryston amplification, a Michell Gyro turntable, Apollo and Muse phono stages, and high-resolution streaming sources. Steve Genewick, Maurice Patist and PMC UK’s Phil Millross will also present a selection of recordings intended to highlight different aspects of system performance.
