Zeiler Audio At Museum Of Design Zurich
ZEILER AUDIO LISTENING ROOM FEATURED AT ZURICH DESIGN MUSEUM EXHIBITION
Swiss audio manufacturer Zeiler Audio will be featured as part of the upcoming “Pling! Sound and Design” exhibition at the Museum of Design Zurich.
Running from 22nd May to 20th September 2026, the exhibition examines the relationship between sound, architecture, design and research, with a particular focus on how listening shapes human interaction with designed spaces.
ZEILER AUDIO LISTENING ROOM
A dedicated 40 square metre Listening Room has been created for the exhibition, positioned as the concluding installation within the event. The space is intended to demonstrate how high-end audio reproduction intersects with design, material selection and room acoustics. According to the organisers, visitors will be able to listen to curated music and sound examples that Zeiler Audio uses during the development of its components.
The exhibition presentation focuses on elements such as spatial imaging, dynamics and system transparency, with the aim of demonstrating how recorded music can be reproduced within a controlled listening environment. Daily demonstrations will take place during museum opening hours.
ZEILER AUDIO AND FOND DESIGN
Zeiler Audio manufactures its systems in Switzerland and says its products are developed with an emphasis on acoustics, circuit design and material selection. The company’s industrial design work has been developed in partnership with Zurich-based studio FOND Design, resulting in a minimalist aesthetic across the range.
LISTENING SESSIONS PROGRAMME
Alongside the main exhibition, four evening Listening Sessions will be held featuring Electronic Music, Jazz, Contemporary Classical Music, Ambient and Drone recordings. These events will involve Zeiler Audio founder Ralf Zeiler alongside invited guests and require advance registration through the museum website.
PLING! SOUND AND DESIGN EXHIBITION
The “Pling! Sound and Design” exhibition takes place at the Museum of Design Zurich’s Toni Areal venue between 22nd May and 20th September 2026. Zeiler Audio’s contribution includes the dedicated Listening Room and associated listening events, with the wider exhibition exploring sound as both a cultural and design-focused discipline
