Cadence Distribution Appointed UK Distributor For Revox
CADENCE DISTRIBUTION APPOINTED UK DISTRIBUTOR FOR REVOX
Cadence Distribution has been appointed as the official UK distributor for Revox, the Swiss manufacturer known for its studio-based analogue and digital audio engineering.
As part of the agreement, the Revox B77 MKIII reel-to-reel tape recorder will be available exclusively through Audio Lounge London and The Music Room Glasgow. Both retailers will provide demonstrations, installation, and ongoing customer support for the product.
REVOX B77 MKIII BUILDS ON ANALOGUE HERITAGE
Revox has a long history in professional broadcast and studio equipment. During a recent visit to its facilities in Zurich and Villingen-Schwenningen, it was reported that around 85% of historic Revox and Studer machines remain operational. The company also continues to refurbish most of its legacy reel-to-reel products.
The B77 MKIII is positioned as an update to the original B77, retaining its mechanical and sonic principles while introducing technical revisions. All components are manufactured in Europe, with a focus on long-term serviceability.
Alongside its analogue products, Revox continues to develop digital and software-based audio systems. The company has spent over a decade building proprietary platforms for multi-user audio and connected systems, rather than relying on third-party solutions.
Its product range now spans in-wall speakers, wireless systems, and traditional tape formats, reflecting a combination of legacy formats and newer technologies.
REVOX EXPANSION INTO TAPE PRODUCTION
Revox has also expanded its involvement in tape-based media through the acquisition of Horch House. This allows the company to produce new master tapes and tape copies using newly commissioned equipment.
The brand has also collaborated with artists including Alice Cooper and Yello, supporting continued interest in reel-to-reel formats.
REVOX UK SUPPORT UNDER CADENCE DISTRIBUTION
Under Cadence Distribution, Revox products will receive dedicated UK support. The distribution arrangement is intended to provide a structured route for sales, demonstration, and servicing within the UK market.
