JPLAY ADDS HIGHRESAUDIO STREAMING TO JPLAY APP
JPLAY has announced the integration of HIGHRESAUDIO into the JPLAY app, making it the third streaming service available within the platform alongside TIDAL and Qobuz.
The update is available now in the latest version of the app and allows users to access HIGHRESAUDIO content directly within JPLAY, alongside local music libraries.
JPLAY ADDS HIGHRESAUDIO HI-RES STREAMING AND DISCOVERY
The JPLAY and HIGHRESAUDIO integration brings support for lossless streaming up to 24-bit/192 kHz, including verified 24-bit studio master releases. Editorial features such as curated playlists, album descriptions and artist biographies are also accessible within the JPLAY interface, with playlists and recommendations appearing on the Home screen.
Through the integration, JPLAY users can access HIGHRESAUDIO VirtualVault, enabling streaming of previously purchased albums without requiring an active HIGHRESAUDIO streaming subscription. Purchased albums can also be downloaded directly to the device running the JPLAY app for local playback.
HIGHRESAUDIO streaming within JPLAY is available in numerous European territories, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries and several central and eastern European regions. Availability may vary depending on local licensing conditions.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The HIGHRESAUDIO integration is available now in the current version of the JPLAY app. JPLAY is offered via a yearly subscription priced at $49, with a free two-week trial available. A lifetime licence is also available for $199, with a reduced upgrade price of $149 for existing subscribers.
