CLEARAUDIO LAUNCHES PROFESSIONAL POWER 12V/24V SUPPLIES AND TERRA GROUNDING BOX
Clearaudio, the German manufacturer known for its analogue audio products, has introduced two new power supply units, the Clearaudio Professional Power 12V and Clearaudio Professional Power 24V and the Clearaudio Terra Grounding Box .

CLEARAUDIO PROFESSIONAL POWER 12V AND 24V
The Professional Power 12V is compatible with the Concept and Performance DC models, while the Professional Power 24V is intended for the Innovation and Ovation turntables. Both units are transformer-based and stabilised, offering an alternative to the entry-level supplies and positioned below Clearaudio’s high-end Smart Power range.
The new power supplies use a resonance-optimised transformer and professional-grade internal components. According to Clearaudio, this results in reduced mechanical interference and improved mains filtering. The design aims to provide more consistent motor drive and electrical stability, which can help reduce noise and improve rotational accuracy.
Each unit is housed in an aluminium chassis available in silver or black. Both versions have a compact footprint and a weight of approximately 1.10kg. The Professional Power 12V operates on 110V AC/60Hz or 240V AC/50Hz with a maximum current of 200mA, while the Professional Power 24V supports up to 1.4A.
CLEARAUDIO TERRA GROUNDING BOX
Also new from Clearaudio is the Clearaudio Terra Grounding Box, designed to address issues with ground loops and electromagnetic interference in HiFi systems. The device acts as a central grounding point and offers six connection terminals—three direct and three with lifted ground potential—to suit various system configurations.
The enclosure is made from anodised aluminium and filled with a sand mixture intended to dampen vibration and reduce electromagnetic interference. The unit connects to protective earth via a plug that avoids direct contact with mains voltage, aiming to minimise additional electrical noise and provide safer grounding.
DESIGN AND CONNECTIVITY OF THE CLEARAUDIO TERRA GROUNDING BOX
The Terra has a cylindrical form factor and compact dimensions (93x91x147mm), with a choice of silver or black finish. It includes three grounding cables and is intended to integrate easily into existing systems. Weight is listed at 1.5kg without the power cable.
