Italian HiFi brand Volumio has unveiled the Volumio Preciso Dual Mono DAC, its first product that isn’t a streamer, aimed squarely at audiophiles seeking precise, transparent sound, without breaking the bank.

The launch follows extensive consultation with Volumio’s community of audio enthusiasts, culminating in a DAC that strips away unnecessary features to focus on delivering uncompromising sound quality.

At the core of the Volumio Preciso Dual Mono DAC are two ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chips in a true Dual Mono configuration. Each channel operates in complete isolation from the other, a design choice made to eliminate inter-channel crosstalk and to maximise stereo separation.

DEDICATED POWER SUPPLY PATHS FOR ANALOGUE AND DIGITAL STAGES

To further support sonic integrity, the Volumio Preciso Dual Mono DAC features a Dual Linear Power Architecture. Separate regulation for analogue and digital circuits ensures minimal noise and signal interference, negating the need for aftermarket power supply upgrades.

The Volumio Preciso Dual Mono DAC includes a range of digital inputs—USB 2.0 Type-B, S/PDIF coaxial and optical, and I2S over HDMI—supporting high-resolution formats up to PCM 768kHz/32-bit and DSD512. Analogue outputs include both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR connections, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of HiFi systems.
