Alphason will be introducing their Cartridge Stabiliser, a device designed to combat cartridge instability distortion at this year’s UK Audio Show.
ALPHASON CARTRIDGE STABILISER
From £39.99, the Alphason Cartridge Stabiliser claims to deliver a significant reduction in distortion. Alphason says that creating an exceptionally stable platform for the cartridge reduces unwanted vibrational energy in the cartridge body and headshell reducing the muddying effects of such colouration.
Direct coupling preserves the essence of the performance while maintaining transient and “first cycle” accuracy, together with dynamics, timing, and phasing. The Alphason Cartridge Stabiliser is compatible with most cartridges and tonearms.
