Jake Purches is the founder of Base2 Music, a classical and organ music record label established in 2017.
Jake Purches and Base2 Music will be exhibiting at the North West Audio show, hosted by Malvern Audio Research in the Wright room on the lower ground floor.

With a background in recording and audio engineering, coupled with 8 years of experience with B&W loudspeakers and 11 years with Vivid Audio loudspeakers, Jake is dedicated to delivering an “exceptional sonic experience”.
Jake told us: “As an audiophile with a deep commitment to meeting the exacting standards of fellow audiophiles, I utilize the Sennheiser MKH series microphones, renowned for their exceptional bandwidth, to capture performances with unparalleled fidelity. As well as their dedication to audio and music quality, Base2 Music offers a range of formats for music enthusiasts to enjoy. All recordings are produced for digital download, allowing listeners to experience the music in high-resolution digital formats on Super Audio CD, in stereo and multi-channel. They have recently started catering to vinyl enthusiasts with Vinyl One Step pressings.
DEMONSTRATIONS
At Cranage, you can explore the collection, enjoy the twice-daily demonstrations with Jake. They will be showing specially made lathe cut lacquer discs of their recordings too, which can be purchased after the show.
NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW 2023

The North West Audio Show will take place on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of June 2023 at the De Vere Cranage Estate in Cheshire, UK.
