Metronome DSS 2 Streamer And Network Player
THE SECOND GENERATION OF DIGITAL SHARING STREAMER BY METRONOME COMES WITH HIGHER STREAMING PERFORMANCE
High-end French HiFi brand Métronome announced its second generation DSS, logically called DSS 2.
The combined streamer and network player, Metronome DSS 2 has now the Wi-Fi connection inside and manages DSD up to 256. It follows on from the brand’s 2019 launched DSS.

METRONOME DSS 2 STREAMER AND NETWORK PLAYER
DSS was the first streaming transport from Métronome, and part of the brand’s Digital Sharing product range. Small sized in order to be easy to integrate in all systems (25x25x7cm = 9.8×9.8×2.8 in), DSS 2 retains this successful housing with a new grey colour and the addition of essential features, the Wi-Fi is now integrated, and DSS 2 plays native DSD files up to x4 (DSD256).
MQA COMPATIBLE & ROON READY
Even though 100% of the electronics and software are new, DSS 2 keeps the simplicity and stability of its plug-and-play function capacity and is MQA compatible.
DSS 2 is UPnP and DLNA certified, usable with all player Apps under those protocols; the advised App being mConnect Control. It is also Roon Ready, Audirvāna compatible and Airplay 1 and Airplay 2 certified.
