IN JUST TWO WEEKS THE DOORS OPEN AT THE MOC MUNICH

Only two weeks from now, the High End Munich 2022 show will open its doors at the MOC.

Here’s info from the organisers of the show about three special initiatives you can find at the show.

START-UP AREA

Previously known as the Newcomers area, the High End Munich Start-Up Area, is a stage for rising newcomers in the audio industry. HiFi Pig always covers this area and we have snoofled out some real HiFi gems over the years.

On a group stand provided by the organiser, early-stage companies will be showcasing their fresh ideas and examples of successful technology transfer. Among the applications submitted for this year’s High End Munich, the organiser selected eight promising newcomers, who will present acoustic mirrors, aesthetic loudspeakers and turntables with a cutting-edge design, among others.

AFFORDABLE AUDIO SYSTEMS FROM SOUNDSCLEVER

For those seeking an entry level into high-end entertainment electronics, the Soundsclever label has been offering helpful guidance in the HiFi world for several years now. This initiative of the HIGH END SOCIETY provides recognition to complete playable audio systems offering extraordinary sound performance for less than EUR 5,000. Various producers and distribution companies put together different systems that they will present at the show under the Soundsclever label. The solutions range from strictly digital to analogue systems and thus represent the exciting diversity that the industry has to offer.

WORLD OF HEADPHONES

Over the past few decades, headphones have grown to become components no one wants to do without. Whether in one’s own home or as a constant companion when out and about, whether as an in-ear or a wireless model with large ear pads, the market offers an endless variety of high-tech headphones to enjoy mobile sound. Today, interference-free listening with the help of noise cancelling is an important criterion for many users, along with a comfortable fit and attractive looks. At the HIGH END 2022, visitors to the “World of Headphones” can try out and compare a large number of different models right there on the spot. In a colour-coded special exhibition space, well-known companies and independent labels alike will be presenting headphones from all corners of the market.
