SHUNYATA ALTAIRA-X GROUND HUB EXPANDS ON ORIGINAL DESIGN
Shunyata Research has introduced the Shunyata Altaira-X Ground Hub, a new development of the original Altaira Ground System.
The updated design incorporates revised internal architecture intended to offer lower noise levels and improved isolation across a wide range of system components.
SHUNYATA ALTAIRA-X GROUND HUB
The Shunyata Altaira-X Ground Hub features eight ground terminals to support full system integration. Each terminal includes its own filtration, allowing different component types—such as chassis or signal grounds, to be connected to a single unit without additional configuration. The terminals are designed to prevent unwanted interaction between connected components.
A key design feature of the Shunyata Altaira-X Ground Hub is its ability to maintain separation between different types of grounds automatically. This approach is intended to minimise cross-component noise and preserve system stability, regardless of how many components are connected to the hub.
SHUNYATA X GROUND CABLES
The new X Ground Cables are designed to work in conjunction with the Altaira-X hub. Constructed using pure silver conductors and treated with Shunyata’s KPIP v2 conditioning process, the cables are engineered for low resistance and high conductivity.
Each X Ground Cable includes TAPc and CMode modules, which are intended to reduce common-mode noise. The cables can be used to ground various types of components in a HiFi system, forming a complete grounding solution when paired with the Altaira-X hub.
SHUNYATA ALTAIRA-X GROUND HUB AND X GROUND CABLES PRICING
The Shunyata Altaira-X Ground Hub is available in the USA at $9,900 and has just launched in the UK through Boyer Audio’s dealer network with a retail price of £9,900. The matching ‘X’ Ground Cables are priced at $2,000 in the USA and £2,000 in the UK for a 1.25-metre base length.
