HIFI PIG RETURNS TO THE FANTASTIC DUTCH AUDIO EVENT HELD IN EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS
The Dutch Audio Event, previously known as XFi is held annually in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Because of Covid restrictions, HiFi Pig last attended in 2019, so we were very excited about returning for the 2022 Show.

WHAT’S ON AT THE PARIS AUDIO VIDEO SHOW 2021?
The last Paris Audio Video Show took place (in the flesh) in 2019, followed during the pandemic by two virtual shows online.
EISA AWARDS 2021 – 2022 ALL THE HIFI, HEADFI, AND HOME CINEMA AWARDS
EISA, the Expert Imaging & Sound Association has revealed the winners of its 2021-2022 Awards.

Sound United LLC, parent company to Denon, Polk Audio, Marantz, Definitive Technology, Classé, and Boston Acoustics, has announced that it has finalised the acquisition of Bowers & Wilkins, the British designer and manufacturer of home audio speakers, headphones, custom installation products, wireless speakers, and branded audio systems in the automotive and television markets.
Sound United LLC, parent company to Denon, Polk Audio, Marantz, Definitive Technology, HEOS, Classé, and Boston Acoustics, has announced it has entered into early stage talks with Bowers & Wilkins, the British designer and manufacturer of home speakers, headphones, custom installation products, wireless speakers, and branded audio systems in the automotive and television markets, to explore opportunities for the two businesses to combine.
The Bristol Hifi Show is, without doubt, one of the highlights of the Hifi calendar and is VERY popular with industry folk as well as visitors, with a long line of people queuing to get in when we arrived around twenty minutes before doors opening on the Friday. It’s a difficult show for us to get to and involves a couple of long drives and an overnight ferry but to miss the show would be somewhat remiss of us. The organisation of the show is second to none with the press being very well catered for as well as visitors. The excellent and free show guide has brief information about all exhibitors and several very useful floorplans to allow you to easily navigate the many rooms of the show. Facilities at the Marriot are good too with a good bar area where we met brands and readers alike, a restaurant and several areas where refreshments were available. More »
We will be off to Paris tomorrow, to bring you coverage of the 2019 Audio Video show. The show takes place in the New Cap Centre and the Novotel Tour Eiffel, on the Quai De Grenelle, on the banks of the Seine.

The Festival Of Sound In London’s Hammersmith opens its doors to the public tomorrow, continuing throughout the weekend, and so Hifi Pig thought we would have a chat with Phil Hansen, one of the show’s key organisers and ask him what is in store for visitors to this year’s Festival Of Sound.
