RS AUDIO APPARITION SERIES AUDIO CABLES LAUNCH WITH VORTEX MAGNETIC WAVEGUIDE TECHNOLOGY

RS Audio has announced the new RS Audio Apparition Series, a new range of high-end audio cables designed and handcrafted in Canada.

The RS Audio Apparition Series sits between the company’s Illumination Series and flagship Emersion Series, with four cable types covering power, analogue, digital and speaker connections.

RS AUDIO APPARITION SERIES USES VORTEX MAGNETIC WAVEGUIDE TECHNOLOGY

The Apparition Series is built around RS Audio’s proprietary Vortex Magnetic Waveguide Technology, described by the company as a magnetic conduction system intended to guide audio signals. The design uses an array of powerful magnets arranged in a specific configuration and enclosed within an outer shell incorporating specialised filtering materials.

RS Audio says the approach is intended to preserve signal integrity while reducing unwanted noise and distortion. The company also states that the cables are designed to provide dynamics, soundstage, imaging and tonal accuracy, while allowing the recording to remain the focus of the listening experience.

RS AUDIO APPARITION SERIES

The RS Audio Apparition Series Cables comprises of the following models. Apparition Power Cable which is available in US, UK and EU versions. The Apparition Analog Interconnect is available with RCA or XLR connectors. The Apparition Digital Interconnect is offered in RCA, BNC and XLR AES3 configurations for S/PDIF digital connections.

The Apparition Speaker Cable completes the new range and is available with either spade or banana terminations. RS Audio says the series has been developed with an emphasis on performance rather than additional cosmetic detailing.

According to RS Audio, each Apparition cable is hand-built in Canada, with the company stating that the series has been developed to offer an alternative to traditionally styled high-end cables.

The Apparition Power Cable starts at US$5,500, the Apparition Analog Interconnect at US$4,250, the Apparition Digital Interconnect at US$2,125, and the Apparition Speaker Cable at US$11,000. The Apparition Series is available now,
