Chord Electronics has launched a purpose-built equipment support for its expanding Qutest range of hifi components.

The new Qutest System Stand is a modular design, precision-engineered from the same aircraft-grade aluminium the Kent-based manufacturer has become known for.

Built to accommodate the company’s Qutest DAC, Huei MM/MC phono stage, plus forthcoming products, the new Qutest System Stand is entirely modular: tiers are available individually and can be stacked as devices are added.

Thermal Coupling

The Qutest System Stand has been engineered using thermal coupling: the stand’s design helps to dissipate any heat originating from the electronics being housed. The structure also cradles the units which are lowered into the Qutest System Stand and securely held at each end. The stand’s design gives unrestricted access to both the front and rear panels of the housed devices, aiding connectivity and operation while maintaining visibility of the polychromatic control spheres.

The base of each tier features four rubber feet, one for each corner, and each tier’s top surface features four shallow spherical recesses to accommodate additional levels. The Qutest System Stand is entirely produced in Great Britain and is hand-built in the Kent factory. It is available in Jett Black (only) and comes pre-assembled and ready to use.

Chord Qutest System Stand is £245 per tier
