ND Audio Analogue DSD DAC At AV Show Warsaw 2026

Hungarian HiFi brand ND Audio will present its ND Audio Analogue DSD DAC at Audio Video Show Warsaw 2026, alongside a matching digital integrated amplifier prototype and electrostatic loudspeakers developed by Otto Popori.

The ND Audio Analogue DSD DAC has been designed as a compact high-end digital component, measuring 24 centimetres wide, with a handmade solid black walnut enclosure.

ND AUDIO ANALOGUE DSD DAC

The Analogue DSD DAC converts PCM signals to DSD in hardware, while native DSD signals pass through without conversion. A discrete-component DSD converter is used rather than a DAC chip or FPGA. The design also removes the coupling capacitor from the output signal path. An op-amp is used only in the RCA signal path, with the company stating that the design approach is intended to keep the number of components directly involved in the audio signal to a minimum.

The DAC uses two batteries to provide its power supply. The batteries operate alternately, with one supplying power while the other is charging.
