Magico has unveiled the Magico S2 loudspeaker, the latest addition to its S Series.

Designed as the most compact three-way speaker in the lineup, the S2 promises the brand’s performance in a smaller footprint, making it suitable for a wide range of spaces without compromising on sound quality.
ADVANCED ENCLOSURE ENGINEERING
The Magico S2 features an extruded aluminium enclosure built around the company’s largest single-piece extrusion to date. Enhanced with a full-length vertical brace, the design ensures maximum rigidity and minimised resonance. This construction aims to eliminate colouration.
MAGICO S2 DRIVER TECHNOLOGY
Central to the S2’s performance are its advanced drivers, including Magico’s Gen 8 Nano-Tec cones with graphene-reinforced carbon fibre skins. These cones, combined with the chassis designs, deliver reduced distortion and enhanced acoustic precision, say Magico. The system includes a 5” midrange driver with a titanium voice coil and a pair of newly developed 7” woofers that produce clean, powerful bass. A diamond-coated beryllium tweeter, derived from Magico’s flagship M9, extends frequency response up to 50kHz.
PRECISE CROSSOVER DESIGN
Magico employs an Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO) in the S2, featuring high-grade components from Mundorf of Germany. This design aims to achieve seamless integration of the four drivers, ensuring a coherent and immersive audio presentation.
VERSATILE AESTHETICS AND FUNCTIONALITY
The S2 is offered in a variety of finishes, including six matte and six high-gloss options. Its three-footer support system, incorporating constrained-layer damping, further enhances sonic performance while adding stability.
