Lyssna Acoustics World Premiere At Dutch Audio Event 2026
LYSSNA ACOUSTICS MAKES ITS DEBUT AT DAE 2026
New Dutch loudspeaker brand Lyssna Acoustics will make its debut at Dutch Audio Event 2026, presenting its Lyssna Modular passive loudspeaker system in Room 33.
The brand was founded by Ruud Moerman and Kobus Oomen, who met through Ruud’s specialist HiFi store, Omera – Hifi en Streaming Media.
LYSSNA MODULAR, EXPAND RATHER THAN REPLACE
The first Lyssna Acoustics range is based around a modular concept designed to allow the system to develop rather than requiring replacement. Buyers can begin with the compact Lyssna Modular Monitor and later add the Lyssna Modular Bass Module. The Monitor then becomes part of a three-way loudspeaker, with the connection made through its underside and without additional cabling.
LYSSNA MODULAR MONITOR
The Lyssna Modular Monitor is a compact two-way design using an optimised 4.5-inch bass-mid driver. The majority of the midrange is handled by this single driver, while the crossover is kept as simple as possible.
The matching Lyssna Modular Bass Module adds a 7.5-inch woofer and a tuned 7.5-inch passive radiator. It takes the low frequencies away from the 4.5-inch driver, creating a three-way system with increased bass extension and a larger presentation.
DUTCH DESIGN AND CZECH CRAFTSMANSHIP
Lyssna Acoustics combines Dutch design with Czech craftsmanship. The cabinets are built by hand in Europe and follow a Scandinavian design approach, with restrained and organic styling. The speakers are available in four matte finishes: Graphite, Petrol, Ultramarine and Cream. Matching Lyssna Stands have also been designed specifically for the Monitor.
LYSSNA ACOUSTICS KICKSTARTER LAUNCH
Lyssna Acoustics will launch a 30-day Kickstarter campaign on 10th October 2026, coinciding with Dutch Audio Event. The company says the campaign is intended to fund its first large production run, while the founders state that the speakers being presented already exist and are finished.
