Kanto Audio Redesigned Speaker Range
KANTO AUDIO TUK GRAND LEADS NEW GENERATION OF LOUDSPEAKERS
Kanto Audio used AXPONA 2026, which took place last weekend, to introduce a refreshed range of loudspeakers, headlined by the new Kanto Audio Tuk Grand.
The launch also included updated versions of the Kanto Audio Tuk, Kanto Audio Yu4, and Kanto Audio Yu6, representing a broad revision of the company’s existing line-up in both design and engineering.
KANTO AUDIO TUK GRAND AS NEW FLAGSHIP MODEL
The Kanto Audio Tuk Grand sits at the top of the new range and builds on the original Tuk platform. It features a larger cabinet and increased internal volume, aimed at improving low-frequency performance and overall scale. Driver integration has also been revised, with updates to the AMT tweeter intended to deliver a more balanced high-frequency response. The changes are designed to offer a wider soundstage and greater sense of presence compared to earlier models.

The Kanto Audio Tuk has also been reworked, adopting a more angular cabinet design in place of the previous rounded form. According to Kanto, this change reduces edge diffraction and contributes to a more controlled soundstage. The cabinet volume has been increased, and updates to the tweeter and waveguide geometry aim to improve high-frequency consistency and detail. Connectivity on the powered version includes Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, USB-C, dual RCA inputs, and TOSLINK optical.
KANTO AUDIO YU4 AND KANTO AUDIO YU6
The Kanto Audio Yu4 and Kanto Audio Yu6 have been revised with new drivers, updated DSP tuning, and redesigned cabinets. These changes are intended to improve dispersion and stereo imaging, while maintaining the all-in-one approach of the powered models. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, phono input, USB-C, RCA, and subwoofer output. Passive versions are also available, offering the same cabinet and acoustic updates for use with external amplification.
DESIGN AND ACOUSTICS ACROSS THE RANGE
Across the new line-up, Kanto has focused on aligning industrial design with acoustic performance. Adjustments to the front baffle and tweeter waveguide are intended to improve high-frequency dispersion and maintain stereo imaging even when listening off-axis. The updated cabinet designs across all models reflect a move towards a more defined, modern aesthetic while supporting the acoustic changes.
The Kanto Audio Yu4 and Kanto Audio Yu6 will be available in White, Black, Walnut, Ice Blue, and Green finishes. The Kanto Audio Tuk and Kanto Audio Tuk Grand will be offered in Black, White, Walnut, Burled Engineered Wood, and Butter. Both ranges are scheduled to launch in summer 2026.
