IPS PRO-AUDIO SHOW 2026 COMES TO LONDON THIS OCTOBER
The IPS Pro-Audio Show 2026 will take place on Saturday 10th October at The Hub, London South Bank University, near Elephant & Castle.
Hosted by the Institute of Professional Sound (IPS), the free event is described by the organisers as the UK’s only dedicated audio show for industry professionals and is also relevant to all those with an interest in music and music production.
The IPS Pro-Audio Show 2026 will run from 11:00 to 17:00 and is open to registered visitors working across TV, radio, film, live events, education, recording studios, streaming and games, covering both production and post-production.

The show will bring together manufacturers, distributors and dealers showcasing equipment and services for professional audio applications. ELECTROMOD AT IPS PRO-AUDIO SHOW 2026
Visitors to the show will be able to check out the latest products from Topping, Dekoni, Dan Clark Audio, Ecoute and Grell Headphones, with Electromod.
IPS TALKS ZONE
The IPS Pro-Audio Show 2026 will also feature a programme of free seminars in the IPS Talks Zone, with sessions covering broadcast, production and post-production sound.
Sound Recordist Ellie Williams and Sound Editor Jonny Crew will present From Field to Post: Natural History in the Making!, exploring how closer collaboration between production and post-production sound can help shape the creative impact of natural-history filmmaking. Their work together has included Earthsounds for Apple TV and Blue Planet III for the BBC.
BBC Technical Producers Matilda Macari and Joe Linehan will take visitors behind the scenes of the BBC Proms, following the technical journey of the event from the Royal Albert Hall to audiences at home. The session will cover aspects including rigging, stage microphone selection, mixing, outside broadcast and broadcast delivery.
A further session featuring Yves-Marie Omnes is also planned as part of the IPS Talks Zone programme.
INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL SOUND
The event is organised by the Institute of Professional Sound, which supports professional sound production and recording across broadcast, recorded and live events. The IPS provides support, training, standards, community and professional recognition for members working in the media industries.
