FRANC AUDIO ACCESSORIES REVISES MODULAR SERIES OF HIFI RACKS AND PLATFORMS
Franc Audio Accessories has announced a revised Modular series of equipment racks, platforms and amplifier stands.
The updated range is due to begin shipping in autumn 2026 and is intended to retain the modularity and configurability of the previous series while addressing structural stability, mechanical resonance and retail cost.
FRANC AUDIO ACCESSORIES MODULAR BASIC
The Modular range is divided into three tiers: Modular Basic, Modular Max and Modular Max+. Modular Basic is the entry-level option, using standardised finishes and a straightforward construction. It is available in matte black, with corner posts and feet bolted into each shelf to form the rack structure. Additional shelves can be added vertically or horizontally as a system develops.
Each Modular Basic shelf measures 650mm wide by 520mm deep. Optional MBAP platforms, described as non-resonant, can be fitted on top of the shelves. The standard feet terminate in precision-machined CNC spikes, with small machined aluminium pucks supplied to protect flooring. Optional isolation footers are also available.
FRANC AUDIO ACCESSORIES MODULAR MAX
Modular Max builds on the Basic design, increasing shelf thickness to 50mm and introducing brackets at the corners of each shelf. Rubber isolators are positioned between the shelf and frame where they are bolted together.
The Max range also expands the choice of finishes, with matte or high-gloss paint colours and real wood veneers available. A Carbon package can be specified, adding carbon fibre posts and legs along with a carbon fibre panel inset into the top of each shelf. Upgraded feet are another option.
FRANC AUDIO ACCESSORIES MODULAR MAX+
At the top of the revised range, Modular Max+ changes the Max construction by using spikes and cups between each shelf tier and the shelf or platform below. Franc Audio Accessories describes this as providing the highest level of vibration isolation within the Modular series.
Max+ retains the finish and customisation options of the Max models, including matte or high-gloss paint, custom wood veneers, the Carbon package and upgraded feet.
MADE IN POLAND
The Modular range, like other Franc Audio Accessories products, is designed, engineered and manufactured in Poland at the company’s facility in Elbląg, near Gdansk and the Baltic Sea. The company states that its metalwork is precision CNC machined, while paint and veneer finishes are completed by hand.
FRANC AUDIO ACCESSORIES BACKGROUND
Franc Audio Accessories was founded by Pawel Franc Skulimowski, an engineer, drummer and music enthusiast. The company initially developed isolation products using combinations of ceramics, polymers and aluminium, with its first product being the Ceramic Disc Classic. Over more than 15 years, its range has expanded to include speaker footers, amplifier stands, equipment racks, turntable mats, cable lifters and resonance-control products.
MODULAR SERIES PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The revised Franc Audio Accessories Modular series is scheduled to begin shipping in autumn 2026. Prices start at $1,445 for Modular Basic, $3,630 for Modular Max and $5,645 for Modular Max+. They are available in the USA through distributor Monarch Audio Systems.
