FIDELITY IMPORTS EXPANDS INTO THE UNITED KINGDOM WITH JAMIE MCKAY APPOINTED MANAGING DIRECTOR
North American premium audio distributor Fidelity Imports has announced its expansion into the United Kingdom, with Fidelity Imports UK set to become operational on 1st October 2026.
The company has also appointed Jamie McKay as Managing Director of the Fidelity Imports UK operation.
FIDELITY IMPORTS BUILDS ON NORTH AMERICAN OPERATIONS
Fidelity Imports already operates in the United States and Canada. According to the company, the new UK division will bring its approach to brand development and specialist distribution to the British market, with the UK initially serving as the immediate focus of the new operation.

McKay brings more than 25 years of experience in the premium consumer electronics and audio sectors. His background includes senior commercial leadership, manufacturer and brand development, as well as experience of working with the UK’s specialist retail channel.
FIDELITY IMPORTS UK TO SUPPORT BRANDS AND RETAILERS
The company says Fidelity Imports UK has been established to provide manufacturers with a dedicated local partner throughout the brand development process. Its planned capabilities include UK brand management, selective distribution, marketing, dealer education, technical support, fulfilment and after-sales coordination.
FIDELITY IMPORTS TO WORK WITH SPECIALIST RETAIL NETWORK
The UK operation will work with a selected network of specialist retailers, with the stated aim of developing sustainable partnerships and providing manufacturers with market positioning, commercial focus and long-term support. McKay said the business intends to combine Fidelity Imports’ North American infrastructure and manufacturer relationships with dedicated knowledge of the UK market.
UK MARKET IS THE INITIAL PRIORITY
While the company says the UK operation could potentially provide a platform for evaluating further international opportunities in the future, its immediate priority is to establish a sustainable presence in the British specialist audio market.
Fidelity Imports UK will officially begin operations on 1st October 2026. Details of its initial manufacturer portfolio, specialist retail partnerships and market-launch programme are expected to be announced separately.
