EMM Labs Release DV2 Integrated Converter
The DV2 DAC builds on the EMM Labs technology used in Canadian brand’s flagship DA2 converter.
The DV2 has EMM’s newly developed high resolution volume control system, VControl™. VControl™ was designed and integrated into the DV2’s MDAC2™ architecture.

Emm Labs say: “There is no loss of audio resolution because VControl™ does not requantize the input signal. This allows VControl™ to have complete transparency at any volume setting and a very wide attenuation range”.
MQA
The DV2 also features a large array of inputs, plus support for DSD, 2xDSD, DXD streams and a custom full MQA® implementation over USB input. It has the atest generation 16xDSD Meitner Digital Audio Translator (MDAT2™) signal processing technology and a next generation MCLK2™ proprietary custom clock. Price is £29,995.
