DUNU EST112 FOUR-DRIVER TRIPLE-HYBRID IEMS
DUNU Top-Sound, also known as DUNU, is an audio-equipment brand based in China.
Back in 2013 DUNU’s first hybrid driver IEM the DN-1000 was launched and since then DUNU has released several Hybrid IEMs consisting of a mixture of DD (Dynamic driver) and BA (Balanced Armature) units.
DUNU EST112 IEMS
DUNU has now released their latest hybrid In Ear Monitors, this time with a triple-hybrid setup consisting of a DD, BA, and two EST (Electrostatic) drivers, called the DUNU EST112.
FOUR-DRIVER TRIPLE-HYBRID SETUP
DUNU’s latest EST112 features a four-driver triple-hybrid setup consisting of one powerful dynamic driver, one premium balanced armature driver, and two high-performance Electrostatic drivers. This is the first triple-hybrid driver IEM from DUNU featuring Electrostatic drivers.
THIRD-GENERATION DYNAMIC DRIVER UNIT
DUNU has equipped the EST112 with its third-generation 13.5mm large dynamic woofer. It has a dual-sided beryllium coating that makes the diaphragm thicker with a finer, more regular grain pattern.
KNOWLES BALANCED ARMATURE UNIT
DUNU has been opting premium balanced armature drivers from Knowles in its hybrid IEMs for a long time now. Knowles is one of the most well-renowned brands for BA units worldwide.
SONION EST DRIVERS
Long gone are the days when electrostatic drivers were only being used in high-end headphones. The technology is advancing at a rapid speed with its implementation in many flagship IEMs. DUNU has used two high-performance EST drivers from Sonion for these IEMs.
ALUMINIUM ALLOY SHELL
DUNU has designed an all-new shell package that encapsulates the re-engineered driver circuitry. The ear cavities are made with a high-precision machining process using lightweight and durable aluminium alloy material. They are finished with scratch-resistant gunmetal anodizing and feature polished stainless steel faceplates.
LITZ CABLE AND DUNU QUICK-SWITCH MODULAR PLUG SYSTEM
DUNU bundles the EST112 with its premium DUW-02S cable. It is a high-quality Litz braided silver-plated copper cable with DUNU’s patented Quick-Switch modular plug system. Apart from the standard 3.5mm single-ended plug, the package includes 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced termination plugs.
