Chris Baillie Appointed General Manager Of ADMM
CHRIS BAILLIE TAKES THE HELM AT ADMM UK DISTRIBUTOR OF DELA, ADOT AND PLIXIR
Audiophile Digital Music Masters Ltd (ADMM) has announced the appointment of Chris Baillie as its new General Manager, effective from 1st September 2026.
Baillie takes over the day-to-day leadership of the specialist distributor as founder Alan Ainslie steps back after many years leading the business.
CHRIS BAILLIE TO LEAD ADMM’S NEXT CHAPTER
ADMM distributes high-performance digital audio and network products across the UK and selected European markets. The company represents DELA, formerly known as Melco, along with ADOT optical digital products and PLiXiR power supplies and mains products. Under Baillie’s leadership, ADMM says it will continue to support its specialist dealer network while growing awareness of its brands and maintaining its established technical and product-led approach.

Baillie has worked as a reviewer for various publications over the past five years. He said he intends to build on Ainslie’s legacy and raise the profile of ADMM’s brands across the UK and European markets. His focus will include ADMM’s range of digital music products, including those from DELA, ADOT and PLiXiR.
ALAN AINSLIE STEPS BACK FROM DAY-TO-DAY LEADERSHIP
Ainslie founded and led ADMM and has worked in digital audio for more than five decades. During his career at Technics, he was involved in the finalisation of the standardisation of the Compact Disc format specification. He also worked with the Virgin Classics label, helping the label achieve its first number one in the Classical Music Charts.
Commenting on the appointment, Ainslie said that handing over the business to Baillie was important to ensure ADMM remained in capable hands. He added that Baillie would build on the foundations already established while bringing his own ideas to the company.

ADMM says the change in leadership will retain the company’s focus on specialist audio dealers and partners, alongside its digital audio, network and power product portfolio. Baillie’s appointment marks the transition of day-to-day management responsibilities from Ainslie while the company continues its work across the UK and selected European markets.
