CAYIN HA-1A MK3 COMPACT TUBE HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER LAUNCHED
Cayin has announced the HA-1A MK3, the latest and most compact addition to its HA-series of tube headphone amplifiers.
The new Cayin HA-1A MK3 model uses a pure tube Class A amplification design, custom-designed transformers and a selection of components in a compact desktop chassis.

The HA-1A MK3 employs two JJ 12AU7/ECC82 valves and two Electro-Harmonix EL84EH/6BQ5 valves. Cayin says the amplifier is designed for straightforward integration into a modern personal audio system while retaining the company’s tube-based approach.
The amplifier provides both 6.35 mm single-ended and 4-pin XLR balanced headphone outputs, with rated balanced output power of up to 2,700 mW + 2,700 mW. Headphone impedance can be matched using low and high settings, covering headphones rated from 8–150 Ω and 151–600 Ω respectively.

The HA-1A MK3 also includes a dedicated PRE-OUT, allowing it to be used as a tube preamplifier, alongside two pairs of RCA inputs and an ALPS volume potentiometer. The amplifier measures 240 × 240 × 140 mm, making it the most compact member of Cayin’s HA-series. It will be available in Black and Silver finishes.
Cayin positions the HA-1A MK3 as an entry point to its HA-series, sitting alongside models including the HA-2A, HA-3A, HA-6A MK2 and flagship HA-300 MK3. The new amplifier is intended as a smaller and more straightforward option for listeners looking to use tube amplification in a desktop system.

Cayin says the HA-1A MK3 is ready for international launch and will soon be available through its authorised distributors and dealers worldwide. Price in the region of €1299.
