Orchard Audio Release PecanPi DAC And Streamer
After designing products for several names in the industry, Orchard Audio was launched in 2017 to independently release its own line of advanced audio products.

Their latest products are the PecanPi DAC and Streamer. The PecanPi DAC is the next generation DAC for the RaspberryPi and the PecanPi Streamer is a ready to go plug and play streamer, that uses the PecanPi DAC.
PecanPi DAC
Orchard say that the PecanPi DAC has the following improvements over the previous generation DAC: Ultra low noise linear power supplies for all analogue circuits. Re-clocking with Crystek femtosecond jitter oscillator. Built-in HW volume control (no Volume-Clocker needed). Built-in high performance headphone amplifier. Full-size XLR connectors. Ability to back-power the Raspberry Pi. Improved thermal design and it has an aluminium case available. It is currently available for pre-order at a discounted $224.99.
PecanPi Streamer
The PecanPi Streamer will be available with the following software options: Volumio, Rune Audio, moOde Audio, piCorePlayer and Roon End-point. Currently available to pre-order at a discounted $399.99.
