New Products From Metronome

In order to celebrate its first year of “life”, the Digital Sharing Converter, DSC1, the first device of Métronome’s new DS range, is becoming even more connected.

Metronome’s D/A converter remains a high-end DAC with its two dual-mono AK4497 chips, but new functionalities have been added. There are now more streaming services, with addition of Deezer and Spotify and the DSC1 becomes also Roon Ready and reads MQA files. The upgrade is being offered free to all the owners of the first DSC1 generation.

Métronome is also releasing the new AQWO device, which is a DAC and SACD Player.

For several years, Metronome has produced hybrid devices that can be used both as a DAC or CD player. With AQWO, the French brand has upped the level of DAC performance to a level that is “superior to all previous products of the Métronome range”,and added a player able to deal with both CD and SACD. AQWO is also available with an optional tube output. A review of the AQWO will follow soon on Hifi Pig.
