OLLO AUDIO X2 OPEN-BACK STUDIO REFERENCE HEADPHONES LAUNCHED
New beryllium-coated drivers and individual calibration feature in Ollo Audio’s latest studio headphones the Ollo Audio X2.
Slovenian headphone manufacturer OLLO Audio has launched the X2, a new pair of open-back, over-ear studio reference headphones designed for mixing and audio production.
Hand-made in Slovenia, the Ollo Audio X2 Headphones build on the company’s previous X1 model, introducing a new beryllium-coated driver, individual calibration data and revised construction.
OLLO AUDIO X2 HEADPHONES
The X2 uses a 50mm dynamic neodymium driver with a beryllium-coated PET (PVD) and polyurethane membrane. According to OLLO Audio, the increased stiffness of the material is intended to improve driver response and transient accuracy, helping engineers make more precise adjustments to EQ and gain reduction.
OLLO AUDIO X2 FEATURES INDIVIDUAL CALIBRATION
A key feature of the X2 is its individual calibration. Each headphone is measured separately, with calibration data supplied in an open format. This can be used with the included USC plugin, third-party software including Realphones, Sonarworks and Waves Nx, or directly with DSP-enabled audio interfaces.
The headphones are designed to provide a neutral, balanced frequency response without additional processing. OLLO Audio specifies a frequency response of 8Hz to 22kHz (1/3 octave sweep, +/-1dB), an impedance of 32 Ohms and sensitivity of 108dB SPL at 0dBu input.
REPAIRABLE CONSTRUCTION AND FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY
The X2 features an American walnut housing, stainless steel and silicone headband, and ear pads made from acoustic foam with perforated artificial leather and velour. The cable is detachable, uses XLR connectors and can be replaced by the user.
OLLO Audio has also designed the headphones to be serviceable, with replacement parts available for the headband, ear pads, cable, drivers and wooden housing. The X2 comes with a five-year limited warranty.
OLLO AUDIO X2 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The OLLO Audio X2 is available to order now from the company’s website, with the first production batch limited to 100 units. Shipping is scheduled to begin on 7th December 2026.
Pricing is €549 including VAT in the EU, £459 including VAT in the UK, $629 including local taxes in the US, and $499 excluding VAT and duties for other markets.
