HiFiMatters At Dutch Audio Event 2026
HIFIMATTERS TO PRESENT TAKUMI TT LEVEL 3.1 AT DUTCH AUDIO EVENT 2026
HiFiMatters will put Dutch turntable brand Takumi at the centre of its presentation at Dutch Audio Event 2026. Designed by Rik Stoet, Takumi has developed a range of turntables focused on construction, materials and analogue music reproduction.
Visitors will be able to see several models from the current range, alongside Takumi MC cartridges and products from other brands represented by HiFiMatters, including Little Fwend tonearm lifters.

TAKUMI TT LEVEL 1.1
The Takumi TT Level 1.1 will demonstrate the entry point to the company’s turntable range. The model is intended to offer an accessible route into high-quality vinyl playback while retaining the design approach used across the Takumi range.
TAKUMI TT LEVEL 2.1DC
Moving up the range, the Takumi TT Level 2.1DC incorporates the electronic SpeedPod speed-control system. This is designed to maintain stable motor speed, with the aim of providing accurate pitch and consistent vinyl playback.
TAKUMI TT LEVEL 3.1
The main attraction will be the new Takumi TT Level 3.1, which currently sits at the top of the company’s turntable range. The model represents the latest development of Takumi’s work on construction, resonance control and drive technology.
Takumi MC cartridges will also be available, with different stylus profiles and cantilever options intended to allow users to select a version suited to their system and listening preferences.

TAKUMI DESIGNER RIK STOET
Takumi designer Rik Stoet will be present at the show and available to discuss the technical decisions, design philosophy and development behind the products. His presence provides visitors with an opportunity to hear directly about the thinking behind the designs.
LITTLE FWEND AUTOMATIC TONEARM LIFTER
HiFiMatters will also present Little Fwend, a Norwegian specialist producing automatic tonearm lifters for manual turntables. The compact mechanical accessory is designed to lift the tonearm automatically when a record reaches the run-out groove, preventing the stylus from continuing to track the groove when the listener is away from the turntable.
The system requires no electrical power and makes no connection to the audio signal. Its mechanism is activated by the tonearm and lifts it in a controlled manner, with the design intended to minimise lateral resistance on the tonearm and cantilever. Little Fwend products are designed, hand-assembled and individually tuned in Oslo, with the current versions precision-machined in Switzerland.
The range includes the Low Mk2, High Mk2 with magnetically attached risers, and the Disco Mk3, designed for various Technics SL-1200 and SL-1300 turntables. There are also dedicated mounting solutions for models including the Rega P8, P10 and Naia. The magnetic attachment allows the position to be adjusted easily or the unit removed when required.nd the Takumi turntables.
