FALCON BRAVO THE DOME COMBINES DISTINCTIVE DESIGN AND BESPOKE MATERIALS
Spanish HiFi brand Falcon Bravo has introduced The Dome, a loudspeaker developed following research into materials and geometries, with the company focusing on controlled dispersion and low-distortion sound reproduction.

FALCON BRAVO THE DOME LOUDSPEAKERS
The tweeter is housed within a specially designed dome intended to control the dispersion of high frequencies. According to Falcon Bravo, this design provides a coherent lateral response up to 75 degrees, with no frequency disturbance up to 12,000Hz, while aiming to integrate direct sound with reflections within the listening room.
FALCON BRAVO THE DOME FEATURES A 1-INCH TWEETER AND 7.5-INCH WOOFER
The Dome uses a 1-inch tweeter and 7.5-inch woofer, with a crossover incorporating components from Jantzen, Duelund and Mundorf, alongside Falcon Bravo graphite and silver resistors housed in a beechwood capsule.
The loudspeaker has a nominal impedance of 7 Ohms and a minimum impedance of 6.5 Ohms. Falcon Bravo specifies a frequency response of 33Hz to 23,000Hz, ±3dB, and sensitivity of 90dB.
DOUBLE-CHAMBER BASS REFLEX ENCLOSURE
The 40mm-thick enclosure features a double-chamber damped construction and a rear bass reflex system with double-flared ports. Connection is via Mundorf silver-plated copper binding terminals.

Falcon Bravo gives the dimensions as 317 x 610 x 435mm (width, height and depth), with the loudspeaker weighing 32kg. A stand is also specified, weighing 22kg.

Alongside its acoustic design, The Dome incorporates a range of decorative materials. The upper dome is illuminated and features customisable colours, while the 40mm-thick faceted front panel is covered in full-grain leather. The bass enclosure combines maple and Spanish walnut finishes.
