Chord Electronics Ultima 7 Debut At NWAS 2026
CHORD ELECTRONICS ULTIMA 7 AND QUARTET TO MAKE PLAYBACK DEBUT AT NWAS 2026
Visitors to North West Audio Show 2026 will have the opportunity to hear the new Chord Electronics ULTIMA 7 stereo power amplifier in a playback demonstration for the first time.
Chord will also be demonstrating its new Quartet flagship upscaler alongside the DAVE DAC.
CHORD ULTIMA 7 INTRODUCES NEW AMPLIFIER TO THE RANGE
The ULTIMA 7 was first unveiled earlier this month and is scheduled for release in September. According to Chord Electronics, it will become the most affordable full-width stereo power amplifier in the company’s ULTIMA range.
CHORD ELECTRONICS ULTIMA 7 SPECIFICATIONS
Designed to partner the ULTIMA PRE 3 preamplifier, the ULTIMA 7 delivers 135W into 8 Ohms. The amplifier incorporates Chord Electronics’ latest ULTIMA technology, including new high-power vertical-gate-structure MOSFETs and the company’s Dual Feed Forward error-correction system.
QUARTET UPSCALER AND DAVE DAC DEMONSTRATION
Alongside the ULTIMA 7, attendees at Cranage 2026 will be able to audition the new Quartet upscaler in a system partnered with Chord Electronics’ DAVE DAC. The demonstration will provide visitors with an opportunity to hear both of the company’s latest developments in a show environment.

Visitors can find Chord Electronics in the Grove Room on John Lennon Street, located on the ground floor of the venue during NWAS 2026.
NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW 2024
Both visitors and exhibitors love NWAS, the North West Audio Show, at Cranage Hall, just south of Manchester, and many say it is their favourite UK HiFi Show.
The friendly and relaxed atmosphere, lovely location, free entry, parking and a welcome glass of fizz, alongside excellent entertainment and, of course, the best the UK HiFi scene has to offer, make it a fabulous weekend for all the family.
The show is held over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of June 2024.
With over 70 exhibitors bringing you more than 150 brands, there is HiFi, Home Cinema, HeadFi, In Car Audio and this year, the brand new NWAS Record fair. There is a free App, Lectures and Presentations, Live Music and entry is FREE whenever you reserve your ticket, onsite parking is FREE too.

There is a free shuttle bus to and from the show on Saturday and Sunday, to the nearby Holmes Chapel train station, for easy access by train. Onsite car parking is FREE. Manchester Airport is easily accessible by road and train.
