Vertere PHONO-1 LX World Premiere At North West Audio Show 2026
VERTERE PHONO-1 LX HEADLINES THE VERTERE ROOM AT NWAS 2026
Vertere will use North West Audio Show 2026 to give visitors a first look and listen to its new Vertere PHONO-1 LX MM/MC phono preamplifier, which has its world premiere at Cranage 2026.
Joining it will be two further first show appearances from the brand: the SOLO Mono moving coil cartridge and the LunA Linear DC Supply.

VERTERE PHONO-1 LX CONTINUES THE PHONO-1 EVOLUTION
According to Vertere, the PHONO-1 LX represents the latest development of the company’s long-running PHONO-1 design, first introduced nine years ago and subsequently updated in 2019 and 2022. The new version incorporates an upgraded PCB, revised internal DC power supply, a new two-way earthing switch, improved AC input filtering and a redesigned chassis and cover.
The PHONO-1 LX supports both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, offering adjustable gain and loading options. UK pricing has been confirmed at £1,650.
VERERE SYSTEMS AND ATC PARTNERSHIP AT CRANAGE 2026
Alongside the PHONO-1 LX, Vertere will demonstrate a comprehensive analogue front end built around its DG X Record Player, fitted with Groove Runner tonearms and Mystic II and SOLO Mono cartridges. The system will also feature the MG-1 MkII Record Player with Tempo turntable, LunA DC supply and Imperium motor drives.
Electronics will include the CALON Dual Mono phono preamplifier, while amplification and loudspeaker duties will be handled by the ATC SCA2 line preamplifier and ATC SCM100SE active loudspeakers. Vertere’s own veRum, veRum Solo and HB cabling will complete the setup.
VERTERE PHONO-1 LX JOINS SPECIAL DEMONSTRATIONS
Visitors can also expect a number of themed sessions throughout NWAS 2026. Vertere plans daily mono demonstrations showcasing the new SOLO Mono cartridge, alongside end-of-day listening sessions focused on hard rock and metal from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The company says it will also feature educational demonstrations and a selection of special records, acetates and test pressings from artists including The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Supertramp and Queen.
