AUDIO GROUP DENMARK PRESENTS NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES AT HIGH END VIENNA 2026
ADVERTISING PROMO
Among the launches presented this year by Audio Group Denmark at High End Vienna, are the world premiere of the new Børresen A-Series loudspeakers, the Børresen BM2 bass module, and the new Aavik U-301unity amplifier.
Audio Group Denmark makes its appearance at High End Vienna 2026 with several new product launches across the Børresen and Aavik brands, continuing the company’s pursuit of crafting the future of high-end audio.

Visitors attending the exhibition will have the opportunity to experience complete Audio Group Denmark systems featuring Børresen loudspeakers, Aavik electronics and Ansuz technologies working together as one integrated ecosystem designed to bring listeners closer to the music.
The company warmly invites distributors, dealers, press and music enthusiasts from around the world to experience the latest developments firsthand at Hall X2, Stand B02, June 4–7, 2026.
WORLD PREMIERE OF THE NEW BØRRESEN A-SERIES LOUDSPEAKERS
Among the most significant launches is the introduction of the new Børresen A-Series loudspeakers, consisting of the A1, A2 and A3 models. It is a range designed to bring key Børresen technologies and design philosophies into a more attainable category while preserving the company’s core performance principles. The enclosures are available in satin walnut and satin black ash finishes, which are inspired by Scandinavian design traditions while also paying homage to the previous Børresen 0-Series.
Positioned between the existing X- and C-Series, the A-Series represents a carefully balanced approach to high-end loudspeaker design, combining advanced engineering, refined cabinet construction and a strong focus on musical realism.

At the heart of the new series is the in-house developed Børresen DCC5s Neo driver technology. The driver features a multi-layer diaphragm construction, where an aramid honeycomb core is sandwiched between two carbon fiber skins, resulting in an exceptionally stiff yet lightweight structure.
The motor system utilizes a ferrite magnet structure together with dual copper caps designed to reduce inductance within the voice coil gap. This lowers distortion, improves linearity, and enables a faster and more precise response to the input signal.
The A-Series also incorporates the Børresen RP94 ribbon tweeter, operating from 2.5 kHz upward at 94 dB sensitivity. The aluminium-coated membrane weighs only 0.01 grams, giving the tweeter exceptionally low moving mass and enabling lightning-fast transient response.
Rather than relying on a conventional bass-reflex design, the A-Series employs a controlled rear venting system intended to manage internal air movement without reinforcing a specific resonance frequency. This approach reduces compression effects and contributes to a more open and natural musical presentation.
The A-Series continues to follow Børresen’s 2.5-way design philosophy, carefully optimizing driver integration and frequency distribution to achieve a more coherent and natural presentation. Compared to more complex 3-way configurations, the simpler crossover architecture helps reduce phase issues and signal loss, resulting in more natural vocals, better imaging, and a more cohesive, transparent soundstage.
As with all Børresen loudspeakers, resonance control and mechanical grounding remain central to the design philosophy. The A-Series is developed to work in synergy with Ansuz Darkz resonance-control devices designed specifically to lower mechanical noise and improve mechanical stability.
All A-Series loudspeakers are designed and assembled in Aalborg, Denmark, where Børresen continues to combine in-house manufacturing capabilities with extensive quality control procedures throughout the production process.
“When the 0-Series was introduced, I wasn’t yet part of Audio Group Denmark, but I remember being deeply drawn to its design. Having the opportunity to work on the A-Series, I wanted to carry some of that spirit forward. What I find most rewarding is that it reflects that inspiration, while clearly establishing its own identity.”

BØRRESEN BM2 BASS MODULE
Earlier this year, Børresen introduced the BM3 bass module – an ambitious statement product developed to redefine low-frequency reproduction through the company’s folded dipole technology. At High End Vienna 2026, Børresen now expands the concept with the new BM2, bringing the core philosophy and folded dipole principles of the BM3 into a more compact and accessible form factor.
The BM2 utilizes Børresen’s folded dipole architecture, developed to avoid many of the acoustic compromises associated with traditional ported and sealed bass systems. By operating without conventional enclosure pressurization, the design minimizes room interaction and reduces the boominess and listening fatigue often associated with low-frequency reproduction.
The compact enclosure houses two 10-inch drivers working within the folded dipole structure, allowing the BM2 to deliver substantial low-frequency performance while maintaining exceptionally fast transient response and precise control. The folded dipole principle also enables the BM2 to integrate very easily and naturally into listening rooms.
The intention behind the BM2 is not simply to create more bass output, but to develop a low-frequency system capable of integrating naturally with a wide range of loudspeakers while preserving timing, coherence and musical flow.
The BM2 also incorporates integrated Class-D amplification and analog crossover topology, making it self-powered and able to integrate very easily with virtually any stereo setup.
“Fitting the folded dipole principles of the BM3 into the much tighter framework of the BM2, while working with fewer but larger drivers, was anything but easy. Looking at the final result, however, it was entirely worth the effort.”

AAVIK U-301 UNITY AMPLIFIER
Audio Group Denmark also presents the new Aavik U-301 – a Unity Amplifier designed to combine high-end performance with simplified system architecture.
Building on the foundation established by the original Aavik U-300, the new U-301 brings together streamer, DAC, preamplifier and power amplifier technologies within a single chassis, reflecting Aavik’s continued focus on integration without compromise.
Developed and assembled in Aalborg, Denmark, the U-301 is designed to reduce system complexity while preserving signal integrity, timing accuracy and musical coherence throughout the entire signal chain.
At the core of the U-301 is an advanced Class-D amplification platform derived from the Aavik I-x88 series. The amplifier delivers 2 x 300 watts into 8 Ω and 2 x 600 watts into 4 Ω, combining high efficiency with substantial current delivery and precise loudspeaker control.
The fully unified architecture allows the individual stages, streaming, digital conversion, preamplification and amplification, to operate as one optimized system rather than as separate externally connected components. This approach helps minimize signal loss, reduce noise and maintain overall system coherence.
The U-301 also incorporates resonant-mode power supply technology, mechanical grounding principles and Ansuz-derived noise-reduction technologies developed throughout the Audio Group Denmark ecosystem.
Visually, the U-301 continues the minimalist Scandinavian design language established across recent Aavik products, featuring refined aluminium detailing, integrated cooling structures and a large front display interface designed to combine usability with understated elegance.
With the U-301, Aavik aims to deliver a complete high-performance audio solution that bridges convenience and uncompromising musical performance.
“The design process of the U-301 felt like a return to Aavik’s origins and our first unity amplifier. With Flemming’s input, the U-301 pays homage to that heritage while clearly pointing toward the future.”
