Cambridge Audio Evo 300 Streaming Amplifier
CAMBRIDGE AUDIO EVO 300 EXPANDS THE EVO RANGE
British HiFi brand Cambridge has announced the Cambridge Audio Evo 300, a new all-in-one streaming amplifier that becomes the most powerful model in the company’s Evo series.
Designed for larger listening rooms and more demanding loudspeakers, the Cambridge Audio Evo 300 builds on the platform established by the Evo 150 SE, combining streaming, amplification and source connectivity in a single chassis.

CAMBRIDGE AUDIO EVO 300 FEATURES 300W OF HYPEX NCOREx POWER
At the heart of the Evo 300 is a Hypex NCOREx Class D amplification stage delivering 300W per channel into 8 ohms. Cambridge Audio has implemented a dual-mono architecture intended to improve channel separation, alongside a balanced preamplifier stage and dedicated analogue volume controls for each channel.

The amplifier also incorporates a switch-mode power supply and is designed to provide the power and control required for a wide range of loudspeaker loads while maintaining the compact form factor associated with the Evo range.
STREAMING AND DAC PLATFORM
The Evo 300 uses Cambridge Audio’s StreamMagic Gen 4 streaming platform, offering access to Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Amazon Music, Qobuz Connect, Deezer, internet radio, UPnP streaming and Roon Ready functionality. Streaming can be handled over Wi-Fi or Ethernet via the StreamMagic app.
Digital conversion is managed by an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC, with support for PCM files up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512. The amplifier also supports Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, allowing compatibility with a broad range of streaming ecosystems and devices.

CAMBRIDGE AUDIO EVO 300 CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS
Cambridge Audio has equipped the Evo 300 with a comprehensive selection of digital and analogue connections. Digital inputs include USB Audio, USB Media, optical TOSLINK, coaxial digital and HDMI eARC for television integration.
For analogue sources, the amplifier includes RCA and balanced XLR inputs, as well as a built-in moving magnet phono stage for turntable users. Additional features include a dedicated headphone output, pre-out connections and an adjustable subwoofer output with independent crossover and level controls.

The Evo 300 also supports dual speaker outputs, allowing users to configure two separate speaker zones from a single amplifier.
The Evo 300 retains the design language established across the Evo series, featuring an aluminium chassis and interchangeable side panels designed to suit different interior styles. A key visual update is the addition of a 7.8-inch colour display, the largest screen fitted to an Evo model to date. The display can show album artwork, track information, system status and a selection of VU meter displays.

CAMBRIDGE AUDIO EVO 300 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Cambridge Audio Evo 300 is scheduled to be available from June 2026. Pricing is set at £3,499, €3,999, $3,999 and HK$32,800.
