WiiM BAR Soundbar Debuts At High End Vienna 2026
WIIM BAR SOUNDBAR DEBUTS AT HIGH END VIENNA 2026 WITH DOLBY ATMOS AND EXPANDABLE SURROUND SOUND
WiiM has announced the WiiM Bar, the company’s first soundbar, which will make its debut at High End Vienna 2026 when the show opens tomorrow.
Designed as both a standalone soundbar and the foundation of a larger home cinema setup, the WiiM Bar features a 3.0.2-channel Dolby Atmos configuration and can be expanded wirelessly into a 5.1.2 surround sound system using compatible WiiM products.
WIIM BAR SOUNDBAR FEATURES DOLBY ATMOS AND EIGHT-DRIVER DESIGN
The WiiM Bar uses an eight-driver array with four passive radiators, incorporating front-firing mid-woofers and tweeters alongside top-firing drivers for height effects. Support is included for Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and other surround sound formats, while HDMI eARC connectivity enables integration with modern televisions and home entertainment systems.
TOUCH DISPLAY AND APP CONTROL
A notable feature of the WiiM Bar is its 2.1-inch circular touch display, which provides access to playback controls, source selection, EQ settings, smart presets and album artwork directly from the unit. The soundbar also integrates with the WiiM Home App, allowing users to manage playback, multi-room audio, speaker grouping and sound adjustments from a mobile device.
WIIM BAR ROOM CORRECTION AND AUDIO MODES
The WiiM Bar includes RoomFit room correction technology, which automatically analyses the listening environment and adjusts performance accordingly. Additional listening modes include dialogue enhancement for clearer speech reproduction and a Night Mode designed to reduce the impact of louder effects while maintaining dialogue intelligibility.
STREAMING AND ECOSYSTEM INTEGRATION
As part of the wider WiiM ecosystem, the WiiM Bar supports access to more than 20 streaming services through the WiiM Home App. It also supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Google Cast and Roon. Users can control the system via the app, touch display, voice control or the supplied remote handset.
BUILT FOR FUTURE EXPANSION
WiiM says the Bar has been designed to operate as a standalone soundbar or as the centre channel component of a larger wireless home cinema system. Compatible WiiM speakers and subwoofers can be added to create a full 5.1.2-channel surround setup, offering a path for future expansion without replacing the core unit.

The WiiM Bar is available for pre-sale now and is scheduled to go on general sale in July 2026 USA ricing is set at $479 USD. UK pricing is £449, available through distributor Henley Audio.
